Charter Oak Capital Partners, LP fund was formed in December 1997 with a matching investment by Charter Oak Partners for a total fund size of $163 million. The fund was fully invested in nine portfolio companies, primarily in specialty manufacturing. Eight of these companies have been sold; one, Revere Industries LLC, remains in the fund.

Between 1992 and 1997, prior to the formation of Charter Oak Capital Partners, Charter Oak invested in private equity through its hedge fund, Charter Oak Partners. One company, Daisy Manufacturing remains in the fund.
